I had a play with the dewalt thermal imaging camera today. It was most impressive I must say. I don’t know much about it, what it’s recording capabilities are etc, but it’s good that there is an alternative to the likes of Flir and Fluke, and one that can share a battery platform with other tools.
Does anybody get involved with thermal imaging at all? It’s not something I have a huge involvement with, normally I’m able to borrow or hire kit for the odd times I need it. I did look into buying a Flir, but for the cost it wasn’t worth it unless I started concentrating more on commercial testing and inspection. That was a possibility when the firm was growing a few years ago, but not worth the expense at the moment while I’m on my own.
I didn’t find the right solution from the internet.
